EONS TO CREATE

HOW YOU CAN BE

INVOLVED

What Is Needed

  • Talk to your neighbors about the resurgence of the BR Loop. Most people think that the issue was killed due to the efforts put forth in 2010. It has quietly been going forward.

  • Become part of a united majority voicing opposition to this Tier 1 Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS)

  • Send a registered letter to the Capital Area Expressway Authority (CAEA). The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) opposing the Loop on reasonable and logical grounds.

  • Call, email or visit your elected officials voicing your reasons for opposition to the BR Loop.

  • Provide the presenters of the BR Loop with alternative solutions to traffic problems.

  • Make every effort to attend the meeting at Denham Springs High School Gym on December 7th from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.
