The Capital Area Expressway Authority (CAEA), The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) will conduct open-house Public Hearings in support of the development of the Baton Rouge Loop. The project connects I-12 near Walker with I-10 west of Baton Rouge, I-10 west of Baton Rouge with I-10 south of Baton Rouge and I-10 south of Baton Rouge with I-12 near Walker. The proposed improvements include two new crossings of the Mississippi River.

The open house Public Hearings will include a continuous presentation describing the project. Representatives of the CAEA, and the project team will be present to provide information relative to the general location and design features of the roadway, bridges, environmental and other impacts of the project, the relocation assistance program, and any other matters of interest.
